Comparing the 3 Different Roof Options for your Jeep Wrangler JL

 Freedom Top® Three-Piece Hardtop 

The Freedom Three Piece Hardtop is the most common top on the 2020 Wrangler. It is aligns flush with the body of the vehicle, while also being removable to meet any of your customization desires. The hard top removes in three pieces, allowing you to remove some - or all of the top whenever you decide to do so. Black tops are found on the base Sport and Sport S trims of the Wrangler, with Body Color tops being offered at the Sahara trim and higher.

Black Sunrider® Soft Top

The Black Sunrider Soft Top is the classic soft top found in every Jeep Wrangler line since its inception in the 1980's. The Black Soft Top instantly turns your vehicle into a convertible, thanks to Jeep's state of the art C-channel system that allows for Jeepers to drop their top with ease. If you live in an area with warm climate and are looking to save some money on options, you may want to take advantage of this free, convertible roof. It also comes in Tan and can be upgraded to included a soft top with much stronger material.

 

Sky One-Touch™ Power Top 

For years, the convertible soft top was required manual operation to get it removed, and it'd take quite a bit of time. In 2019, Jeep announced the inclusion of their new Power Top system. The Sky One-Touch™ Power Top roof is quick and easy to use, opening the top in under 20 second. It also acts as a panoramic roof, supplying fully open air to everyone inside the vehicle.
