Is the M7 compatible with plate carriers or soft PALS gear?

No. The M7 uses a rigid frame and is designed for hard, rigid MOLLE panels — not flexible fabric PALS surfaces like plate carriers, tactical vests, or soft-sided packs.
How does the M7 mount?

The M7 mounts from the front of the panel using the VersaMount™ bracket, which threads through standard 1-inch MOLLE. No rear access to the panel is required. Installation takes under 30 seconds. To remove, pull the pod forward and the magnetic lock releases — the bracket stays on the panel so you can swap pods without reinstalling hardware.

"This is a great product! It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Installation was super easy, and the quick-release mechanism is smooth and effortless. I bought the “larger” size, but it honestly feels more like a medium to me. I could barely squeeze in two Rhino ratchet straps. To fit four straps, I had to use two of the M7 pouches with zero room left for anything else. I’d love to see a true larger option—maybe an 8” x 12” x 5” size. That would be perfect! I currently run (2) M5, (2) M7, and (1) M12 pouch system in my truck."
